formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The Artic monkeys style is very suave and sleek, formally dressed. Which gives an impression of seriousness and coldness. Since rock revolves around around depression, sadness and cold feelings , it represents that.
The 1975 are an English rock band originating from Manchester. The name was inspired by scribblings found on the backpage of a poetry book by Jack Kerouac that stated "1 June, The 1975". The 1975 has a very old school rock look, which leather jackets, tatoos and a monochrome wardrobe; which is very laid back.
Many other artists/bands like foster the people, the killers, oasis the black keys etc have the same sort of style or representation. Each depends on their band name and how they want their band or artist to look. It depends if their music is deep and edgy, they would go for a cold and edgier look. If its more towards the pop side they would wear casual clothes. It all depends on the artists and their music.
